Long Dog piece

I started this piece years ago and it was in my UFO WIP pile. I think I got tired of the same color but it is really cool to stitch so I brought it out again and I am really 1/2 way done so the home stretch should be quick. Since my favorite LNS closed I have been trying not to buy as much as I was, but it isn't as fun. :) I love to buy stash and miss that store. I framed last Saturday and put a bunch of frames together today, some for customers, some for me. I love the Women of the Mayflower piece and the frame looks dark but is a beautiful purple that matched the waves and words. Also, there is Valentine Medley by Heart in Hand and Scarlet Berries by Carriage House Samplings.

    Hey there Sweetie

Wow - look at all that superb stitching! I love them all - you've done a great job. I love the frames and would dearly love you to frame my stitching for me - I wish we didn't have this huge expanse of sea between us! xx

Your frames look great! I also love the Mayflower design. I purchased that issue of SANQ so I can do it also.

I wish I could do my own frames.

Very pretty finishes, they look lovely framed. Your Long Dog is looking beautiful. I've seen these patterns, but haven't been brave enough to try one as yet. I'm glad that yours is out of the UFO pile.

Your framed pieces look fantastic! Great job!! So sorry to hear about your LNS closing. There's just nothing like fondling stash and linens and fibres....

OMG...I can't get over all the prolific stitchers I find on the Internet...I feel such an amateur in comparison! The Long Dog (??) sampler is stunning; I doubt if I would even have the courage to buy a kit or pattern so complex. Your work is really beautiful.
